Neff Press Technicians Earn IFPS Certification

Neff Press Technicians Earn IFPS Certification

Neff Press Inc. is proud to congratulate four more technicians on a major achievement. Josh Davis, Josh Bartlett, Nick McPherson, and Leo Pagano recently earned their Fluid Power Technician certification through the International Fluid Power Society (IFPS). This marks our second group of technicians to reach this milestone, following our first wave of certified team members.

Manufacturers across the industry recognize IFPS certification as a mark of real expertise. That’s because the program keeps pace with fluid power and motion control technology as it evolves. Earning it takes real commitment. Technicians must complete extensive study, hands-on evaluation, and a deep dive into hydraulic schematics, sizing calculations, and troubleshooting methodology. In short, it’s not a quick credential, and not every company chooses to invest in it.

“Certifying our technicians is a significant investment, both for Neff Press and for the individuals who put in the work to earn it,” said Jon Schmidt, Vice President at Neff Press. “But it pays off directly for our customers. A technician who understands the ‘why’ behind a hydraulic system, not just the ‘how,’ does startups and troubleshooting faster. As a result, presses get started up and troubleshoots quicker.”

With this certification, Josh, Josh, Nick, and Leo bring a deeper technical understanding of hydraulics to every new project and service call. They apply that knowledge to every build they touch, from schematic interpretation to precise sizing calculations. For our customers, this means faster, more accurate builds and troubleshooting. It also means service they can count on from a team that has proven its expertise at an industry-recognized level.

Congratulations to all four on this achievement. Their dedication reflects the kind of investment in our people that shapes the quality of every press we build. Ultimately, it shapes the service every customer receives.
