Neff Press designs and builds presses from 1-10,000 tons and has supplied Electric Servo presses for many years. Neff was recently awarded a contract from a major aerospace company, who has been a long time customer. This contract allows Neff to build a custom Electric Servo column press with 60 tons of force.
This uniquely built press is designed with 70” daylight, 48” stroke, and a bed area of 61” x 46” to accommodate our customer’s loading and unloading of the press. Neff will be supplying an open architecture controls platform with data acquisition, as well as integrated safety and quick die change. One of the many features of this Electric Servo press is that it is designed to dwell for up to 24 hours. This major aerospace company has entrusted Neff with the installation of this press at their facility.
